About Me

Hi, I'm Kiruthikadevi Kuppusamy - a scientist by day and an artist by heart.

Art has been my companion for over 20 years, evolving with me through every chapter of life. What began as a quiet form of self-expression has grown into a bold exploration of texture, light, and storytelling. My work blends mixed media techniques, often combining resin, pigments, clay, and natural materials to create layered, tactile pieces that invite closer inspection and emotional connection.

I’m endlessly inspired by nature, movement, and the subtle moods that color can evoke. Each piece I create is more than visual - it's an experience shaped by intuition, curiosity, and detail. Whether it’s a glowing moonlit sky, a shimmering ocean, or a dreamlike abstract, I build my art one thoughtful layer at a time.

Through Arts by K, I hope to share a part of my world - where imagination flows freely, and creativity always leads the way. Thank you for being here and for seeing the story in my work.

Commissions

I also take on a small number of custom pieces each year. If you have a wall, a colour, or a memory in mind, or a piece of mine you wish came in another size, I would love to hear about it. Tell me the size you are thinking of, where it will live, and anything that inspires it, and I will come back to you with what is possible, a timeline, and a price.
