A bright bloom stands against a dark, quiet background. The red and orange petals stand out sharply, while the blue bracts give the flowers a cool, unexpected depth. I drew on the colors of Peru, letting the warm golds and deep greens create a mood that feels both wild and intimate.
The leaves have a special quality that I added to the piece. They glow in the dark, which adds a subtle, living touch to the overall composition. It is a way to keep the energy of the flowers going even when the light fades. The contrast between the vivid blossoms and the glowing foliage creates a scene that feels active and full of life.
