This beach feels like a toy, a place where the water is soft blue and the sand is full of bright, unexpected things. I was thinking about that feeling of picking up a smooth rock and finding it is the color of a fruit, or a candy, or a bright little piece of the sky.
The top of the piece is all light and movement, like the water just rolled in and left a wet mark on the sand. Then there is the strip of color at the bottom, all those little stones sitting there, each one a different shade of pink, orange, and green.
