A bloom opens and a butterfly takes flight, a fleeting moment held still. The piece is a dreamlike passage of deep magentas and electric purples, where a golden current winds its way through the color. I hoped to capture that brief, suspended breath between stillness and motion.
The composition is alive with texture and light. Intricate golden butterflies drift across the canvas, while vivid red roses bloom like small fires against the rich backdrop. The interplay of shimmering gold and deep violet creates a mood that is both mysterious and celebratory. It feels like a secret garden caught in a single, perfect second.
