I was drawn to the intricate patterns of Indian Lippan art and wanted to bring that same sense of joy and detail into a new form. The peacock is a symbol of beauty and grace, and I hoped to hold onto that feeling of vibrant life in this piece.
The composition centers on a serene peacock set against a warm pink and orange background. Small ceramic cones and mirrors create a shimmering texture that catches the light, adding a sense of movement to the stillness. The rich colors and detailed borders invite the eye to travel across the surface, discovering new layers of pattern and depth with every glance.
