Polar Tide

This circular resin artwork, Polar Tide, is inspired by the icy shores and mysterious currents of a polar sea. Textured black rocks, tiny starfish, and mossy accents come together to frame a swirling, frozen tidepool where a solitary stingray glides beneath the waves. I used layers of resin, pigments, and crushed texture to create depth and motion - like a snapshot of nature suspended in time.

What makes this piece truly special is its glow-in-the-dark feature. As daylight fades, the cool greens and whites softly illuminate, echoing the surreal glow of moonlight on snow and sea. It's a reminder that beauty exists in both light and shadow - ever shifting, always alive.
