I made this piece to hold onto a moment from our Japan trip. The deep, dark background acts like a quiet night sky, allowing the pale pink and white sakura blooms to glow with a soft, ethereal light. It is a way of keeping the fleeting beauty of the season close.
The delicate branches reach across the canvas, creating a sense of gentle movement and calm. Each flower feels like a small, bright memory suspended in the air. I hope it brings a feeling of peace and quiet reflection to the space where it lives.
